CO2 BBQ - April 14, 2009

On Tuesday April 14, the Student Chapter of the AMS hosted the first annual "CO2-BBQ". A fun time was had by all, despite the high winds! Students cooked and sold burgers as a fundraiser, and students in Dr. Clements' Instruments class positioned various instruments around on the lawn. Additionally, a set of flux measurements were made directly over the barbeque pit to estimate CO2 emissions. The photos at bottom show an IR image of the burgers on the grill (thanks to Eric Hughes from Flir, Inc.)! Stay tuned for a later post with a few results! (Spartan Daily Story)
