Forecast Template Instructions: For each class period during the WX Challenge, we will be completing 3 hourly forecasting for the same time period (06Z to 06Z). Thus, on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday you will update your 3 hourly forecasts in your spreadsheet. NOTES: 1) The temperature forecast is for that particular ob, not a "MAX/MIN". 2) The wind fore cast is for observed speed for that particular ob, not a peak wind or gust, etc. 3) Precip is for accumulated 3 hourly precip. Forecasts are due at 5 PM regardless of Z time. (I have a script which runs and copies your file from your "public_htm/forecast" directory at 5 PM). The briefer will be responsible for posting the verification numbers, so everyone can copy and paste them into their spreadsheets. YOu are responsible for adding verification numbers to your spreadsheet.
