- wind speed in knots

- direction in 10° increments

- precip in prior 6 hour period or 3 hour depending on the day. 

Error Score will be calculated as follows:

-  1 point for every T and Td degree off

-  1 point for every 2 Knots off

-  1 point for every 10 direction degrees off over 10 degrees

(No direction errors if wind is 5 knots or less. If speed < 10 kts, no more than 8 error pts.)

-  2 points for every precipitation category off

0 – 0                            .15 to .24 – 6
